P/Maj. Ricardo Dalisay (real name: Ricardo de Leon) is the main protagonist of 2015 longest running action crime drama Philippine television series, FPJ's Ang Probinsyano. He is the twin brother of Dominador de Leon, who serves as a minor protagonist until he was shot and killed by his fellow corrupt policeman Joaquin Tuazon in the fourth episode
The twins were separated from each other due to Cardo having a sickness and he had to be adopted and moved to another country. In his teenage years, his adoptive parents died and had to fend for himself. He was a SAF trooper in Botolan until their lives suffered a big turn when Ador was killed during a human-trafficking operation by Joaquin Tuazon. Later on, he finds out about this tragedy and goes undercover to find the man responsible for killing Ador. He even becomes a traffic enforcer after assaulting Joaquin's men, a SAF trooper again after the death of his son, and a member of the Task Force Agila.
He is portrayed by Coco Martin who also played Juan Dela Cruz in the television series of the same name and Tanggol Dimaguiba in the FPJ's Batang Quiapo. Teen Cardo was played by Nash Aguas and and young Cardo was played by child actor, Izzy Canillo.
Appearance[]
Cardo is tan with a black hair and has his own custom team uniform. He also gets a blue jacket as his outfit and a SAF trooper uniform.
Personality[]
Cardo is a well spirited policeman who despises criminals and has a short temper unlike his brother Ador.
He often scared criminals and even picked up fights with some fellow policemen that he had to be transferred to the Highway Patrol Group. He learned his lesson after he got back to the CIDG.
He is also seen as bloodthirsty, sometimes ambitious, and misguided in some occasions. After the arrest of his granduncle Delfin in a framed-up charges, he turned out completely unhappy, devastated, and lost his coolness and patience.

Synopsis[]
Season 1[]
Cardo is living happily with his fellow people in Botolan as a PO3 SAF officer when suddenly, an unknown visit shocks him. His grandfather Delfin Borja tracks him down to break the news to him. His brother is killed by corrupt policeman, Joaquin Tuazon. Motivated to find the one responsible for his brother's death, he travels to Manila and goes undercover as his brother. As he meets his brother's family and his grandmother, he remembers the pain and sadness he experienced when he got seperated with his family and the death of his parents. Meanwhile, some friends at Botolan also discover his undercover mission.
As Cardo makes more and more bad decisions, his disguise is eventually discovered by his grandmother, Flora de Leon and Carmen, his brother's widow. Due to Carmen being unable to cooperate, everyone else also discover his true identity and set up a funeral for his brother. With the series progressing, he eventually tracks and brings down multiple crime groups, along with some being linked to the Tuazon family. As the Tuazon family keep tampering with evidence linking back to them and killing people who know their evil deeds, Cardo, with his sheer determination and seek for justice, gets closer and closer to the people who wronged him.
Season 2
With the deaths of Rachel and Verna, Cardo's mind is getting more confused with all the anomalies, as he also gets dreams of Carmen, pleading for justice. Meanwhile, Emilio Syquia, who's tired of Tomas being the head of the drug syndicate and controlling it, plans to make Cardo discover Tomas's criminal activities. After the successful arrest of Tomas, Joaquin, Tomas' son, decides to setup Cardo. Cardo, unaware of the setup, meets up with Joaquin Tuazon and his men to arrest some criminals. Cardo is knocked unconscious and is drugged. He is then shot by the police, until they discover that it's Cardo. With the evidence planted and framed against him, he is jailed as a Maximum Inmate and meets Tomas Tuazon. As Cardo analyzes his new surroundings and meet more inmates, he gains new allies as well as enemies. With more tension building up with Cardo and Tomas, Emilio creates more bad blood as he reveals the truth to Cardo that Tomas killed his sister-in-law, Carmen. Eventually, Tomas tries to escape the prison unsuccessfully, with Cardo killing him.
With Joaquin grieving Tomas' death, he along with General Rogelio Jacob, hire a new, corrupt, and cruel director, Guillermo Acosta. Outside the prison, an unexpected person shows up. Onyok's mother, Rowena, comes to collect him, with Cardo and his family waving goodbye. However, Onyok is feeling homesick as he leaves Cardo's family, and meets his stepfather. Feeling unhappy and sad, Onyok runs away to be with Cardo in prison. With his newfound allies and Onyok, Cardo and the inmates escape the prison because of Acosta's continued torture and abuse. With a successful jailbreak, Cardo goes to Jimboy's house, while Ramil faces Romano Recio, a big-time drug lord and an old friend, to collect his money from him. Cardo tries to seek the help of his friends to prove his innocence.
With Rowena worrying about his son, Benny visits Cardo despite his unwillingness to this decision. As Cardo's life is put on the line, Benny sacrifices himself to save Cardo. Now, as Cardo and his family mourn for his death, Cardo tracks down Benny's killer and kills him. With the authorities looking for ways to hunt Cardo and his allies, they put a bounty on their lives.
Cardo, trying to cool off the situation, heads to Cebu with Onyok. With the ship they were boarding finding their true identities, Cardo and Onyok jump off the ship. Meanwhile, with Teddy's decision to cooperate, he decides to reveal a secret footage of Emilio killing Cardo's father, Pablo de Leon. Onyok almost drowns as Cardo rescues him. With Cora and Amado finding them on the water, Cardo and Onyok lie about their true identities and introduces himself as Miguel.
Season 3[]
The only rivalry of Cardo Dalisay, was Renato Hipolito, the leader of the Mafia Forces who hates Drug Syndicates.
Season 4[]
Romulo redeems a villains to forgive Cardo and became the Vendetta. They shoot Mateo de Silva and his deeds for drugging everyone.
Season 5[]
Lucas Cabrera released to be the father of Brandon Cabrera and Marco Cabrera, and the lover of Catherine Cabrera. Alyana successfully lies Cardo who she'll never meets no more! He retreats the policemen attempts for abducting him, Diana Olegario tells Cardo the truth about Renato Hipolito.
Season 6[]
However, Lily Ann Cortez joins Renato Hipolito to see Lucas Cabrera, Damian and Albert Hernandez. Homer Adlawan lost his egos and stays dead by Cardo, the Vendetta shoot Lucas and Renato, but Anton dies and Renato survives. They quit faster by Oscar's deeds.
Season 7[]
After Cardo's promotional, Dante S. Madarang appears because of his twin brother's death by Ador De Leon before he was shot by Joaquin. Renato Hipolito has been seen by Lily.
Season 8[]
At last, Cardo and his friends reunites Vendetta to tortures Lemuel in any slights. Juan loses to kills him for abusing Mr. Miller x Jamil in any slights. Cardo and his colleagues are ready to destroy Lily Ann Cortez and Arturo Padua in any slights. This 2021, Cardo tortures Lily in any slights and Arturo retreats. Things got even worse when his wife died that he irrationally infiltrated Black Ops and almost killed Albert.
Season 9[]
After the departure of Lia Mante & her family, Cardo and Task Force Agila find their new hiding place for safety at the North (located in Vigan) to unaware that the people at the North don't know them or tried to avoid them at all costs. The group tells Cardo about his next upcoming plan was to targets put an end on their crimes for the government officials including: Renato, Lily, Arturo, Albert and Lito, the fake President Mariano, while exposing the evil schemes of Lily Hidalgo and bring back the real President Oscar Hidalgo.
In the last fifteen episodes of the series, he is now wearing a Black & White digital uniform based on SWAT and SAF's uniforms. Cardo is ready to take down Armando, Lolita, Albert, Lily and Renato

- Master Marksmanship: Cardo has greater concentration to focus the target precisely and highly-skilled on any types of firearms.
- Master Shooter: Cardo can take down several platoons with his master marksmanship.
- Fighting Mastery: Even if he is not equipped with firearms or weapons, he is a highly-skilled fighter.His fighting style is a mixture of various martial arts such as Karate,Taekwondo,Kung fu,professional wrestling and judo taking down a person or armed person.
- High Pain Tolerance: He is shot a lot of times, but that will not even stop him of fighting criminals and giving justice to the Filipino People.
- Alpha Mastery: Agila with firearms, weapons, rocket launchers, throwing army knife and army knife, he is highly skilled on martial arts and wrestling combat to the shield.
- Great Reaction Time: This ability saves him from his enemies because he often kills them first and can be seen using this ability whenever he is in a gunfight to fight off enemies.
- Master of disguise, can easily fool his enemies most notably as a Rebel fighter in season 1 and Black Ops operator in season 9.

- Immortality:Cardo is shown to be able to survive many attacks even after getting badly injured,given the fact his grandmother,Lola Flora,always prayed before she passed away,it’s possible God may have given him some kind of ability for this.

- His signature weapon in the later series is Colt M4A1 assault rifle with ACOG scope with extended magazine (on the buttstock, albeit never used).
- His new uniform was Black & White digital camouflage in the intro of season 7 and 8 of the series, in the final weeks of season 9, it was his official uniform.
- He can be compared to John Price, a British SAS-turned-Task Force 141 operative from the first universe of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare video game sub-series, because they share the many following similarities:

- He also shares some similarities with Haruo Sakaki ,the main protagonist of the anime Godzilla trilogy,considering both have vengeful actions and seek revenge on the killers responsible for the deaths of many people.However,Cardo managed to accomplish each and every one of his goals while Haruo failed to allow Humanity to reclaim the world from Godzilla earth and he also possibly shares some similarities with William Afton,the main antagonist of the Five nights at Freddy’s franchise as both seemed to have survived for many times however their roles are reversed with Afton being a serial killer who murdered children backstage at Freddy Fazbear’s pizza and Cardo being an innocent police officer.
- He carries his twin brother, Romulo, his grandfather, his father and his team's legacy in Season 1 - Season 9 because they are fallen heroes.
